Now's a great time to get more involved with Mode Shift Omaha Teams! Our Bike Team, Transit Team, and Walkability Team are all meeting in September. Also take action now to make the Harney Street Bikeway permanent! Learn more below & find the recording of our August meeting on ARPA funds along with upcoming ARPA fund hearings.

9/10: Biking Team Meeting

The Bike Team is having it's first meeting in a while. Join them on Saturday September 10 at 10am at Roast Coffee in Aksarben. If you miss the meeting, but want to get involved email: info@modeshiftomaha.org

Omaha City Council is considering making the Harney Street Bikeway permanent! Contact your City Council member asking them to make it permanent today! Here's a templated email and contact info.

9/27: Transit Team Meeting

The Transit Team is just getting restarted after a hiatus. Join the conversation on Tuesday September 27 at 6pm and help plan goals for this team. Some ideas include tracking Metro's shift to a regional transit authority, pushing for free buses for all, & organizing Ride the Bus with Us events.

9/14: Walkability Team Meeting

Join the Walkability Team Wednesday September 14 at 7pm for their next meeting. Likely discussions will include organizing future Walk with Us events, communicating walkability concerns to the City, and more.
