The second open house is today, Thursday November 10th from 5-7pm (note: FB event incorrectly says 4-6) at UNO's Community Engagement Center. We hear you'll get a better look at potential improvements the city's planning department could eventually put in place to make active transit better around the city. Check here for more information on the Active Mobility Master Plan.
And, make sure you take the survey online too (it became more user friendly after feedback from many Mode Shifters!)

11/15: Public Testimony Training

Join Missing Middle Housing for a training on providing public testimony on Tuesday 11/15 from 5:30-6:30 pm at Commerce Village at 950 S 10th St. Focus wlll be on the Affordable Housing Action Plan.

Come talk everything bikes in Omaha with the coolest bike team around. We'll be meeting at Cafe Postale in Commerce Village at 10:30 Saturday morning. We have a LOT to talk about.

Join the Transit Team on Zoom on Tuesday November 15 at 7pm. Transit Team discussion will include planning for future Ride the Bus with Us events, tracking Metro's move towards a Regional Transit Authority, and more.

11/14 & 15: Mayor Town Halls

Omaha Mayor Jean Stothert is hosting two town halls next week:
Monday, November 14th from 6-7:30pm at Saddlebrook Community Center, 14850 Laurel Avenue.
Tuesday, November 15th from 6-7:30pm at the Ashton in Millwork Commons. The 13, 4, and 18 Metro routes swing near there.

  • Cranksgiving: Saturday 11/19 at 11am. Bike to get food/items to donate, or just drop off a donation and hang out. 
  • World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims: Sunday 11/20 at 11:30am at 62nd and Dodge St. Will include a walk and banner hang on the pedestrian bridge.
  • Sidewalk Stories launch for Giving Tuesday: Tuesday 11/29 at 7pm. Join us for a launch of an audio compilation of Omaha sidewalk stories & a campaign to make sidewalks officially designated as transportation. More coming soon.
