Sarah stepping back from MSO

We have so much love and gratitude for Sarah Johnson, who helped found Mode Shift and worked as our Membership Coordinator for about 2 years. We wish her all the best in her future endeavors.  We can’t thank her enough for all of her work at Mode Shift, and the new heights she took our organization to during her time here. If you’d like to keep up with Sarah at Council Club or on the Car Free Midwest podcast, her linktree is here: https://linktr.ee/sjoma

I am writing to announce that Sarah Johnson is stepping back from Mode Shift starting on February 16th. Advocacy work is exhausting, and we hope that some space will provide some needed rest and recovery. You may still see Sarah around town and at some Mode Shift events, but she will not be acting as our membership & volunteer coordinator.

Please reach out to myself, Grace Thomas, Derek Babb, or Melanie Davis if you have any Mode Shift items. We want to thank Sarah for the countless hours of work she had done to take Mode Shift to a new level these past few years!

In the meantime, please help us continue the momentum Sarah has given Mode Shift by inviting your friends to become members, and consider volunteering with us. It will take many people to fill her shoes! We’ll be posting a job description to hire a new membership coordinator soon.
