Do Good Days with SHARE Omaha

Mode Shift is taking part in this year's Do Good Days with SHARE Omaha! Our goal this year is $5,000.

With your support we can increase our impact engaging in public policy discussions, influencing decisions about transportation and land use, and monitoring designs and projects.

Walk With Us in Blackstone

On Tuesday May 17th at 5:30 we're taking a look at how the recently announced pedestrian improvements are coming. We'll walk the area starting at 38th & Farnam where a drunk driver hit and killed a woman last year. Walk With Us to see if the new additions help with slowing down traffic and making Blackstone a more comfortable place for people not in cars

Join us afterwards at Rathskeller at 7pm.

Volun-Thursday Walk with Us: Clean Up with
the Blue Bucket Project

Bus stops and the sidewalks around them can collect a lot of trash and debris, but we'll be helping clean them up! On Thursday, May 19th we're partnering with The Blue Bucket Project to pick up around 72nd and Pine. That's at 3:30.

It's another of our SHARE Omaha events, so come out and help us keep our city clean!

Monthly Membership Meeting- May 25th 
 

Join us Wednesday, May 25th at 7pm 

We'll be joined by Paulette Monthei from Outlook Enrichment.

She'll help walk us through discussions of inclusivity and accessibility with a focus on creating spaces that are more accessible to people with disabilities. We'll also talk updates on transportation related issues in Omaha from Blackstone pedestrian improvements to Farnam Street two-way transition.

KEEP AN EYE OUT

May 20: We're partnering with the Community Bike Project on a Bike from Work Day event from 4-7pm at their shop at 525 N 33rd St. with water, doughnuts, and coffee.

May 21: We're hosting a Parklet in Little Bohemia in front of Family of Things from 11am to 4pm. We'll show off the fun things that can happen when people are put over parking. More details to come!

June 1 at 6:30-  We're joining Mode Shift Member, Mike Kolakowski, for a viewing of Not Just Bikes with a discussion after wards. Keep an eye out for details and follow the Facebook Event for updates
