On Wednesday March 30 from 5:30-6:30pm join Missing Middle Omaha for a presentation and Q&A with Tihisha Rawlins, Associate State Director for AARP Kentucky, who led an advocacy effort through AARP resulting in exciting ADU policy changes. An ADU is an accessory dwelling unit, also known as a mother-in-law apartment. Louisville made serval code changes in April of 2021 to make ADU construction more accessible. We are looking forward to hearing successes and lessons from her efforts!

Join Mode Shift Omaha's Walkability Team for our next meeting on Wednesday April 13 at 7pm.

We'll get updates on Walkability research, news, and talk about ways we can work together to improve walkability in Omaha. We are working on planning a series of Walk With Us events starting in May to bring more attention to walkability concerns at specific intersections in Omaha.
