The City of Omaha has scheduled the next public meeting in the Transportation Master Plan update process for Thursday, September 15th, 6:30 PM at the Scott Conference Center, 6450 Pine Street, on UNO’s South Campus. RSVP for the event on the TMP Facebook page.
Consider taking the bus, biking, car pooling, or walking to the meeting.
There will be special express buses running from Westroads (in front of Dick’s at 5:55 pm) to Scott Conference Center for the meeting, with an intermediate stop at Crossroads (NW parking garage at 6:05 pm; parking free above level 5). Return by bus after the meeting. Fares will be $1.25 each way. In addition, bus numbers 15/55 and 11 pass near the Center. For bus schedules go to the Metro bus website: http://ometro.com/.
Bike rides to the Center are also scheduled to leave from:
- Downtown: The CenturyLink Center (5:30pm) and then Metcalfe Park (about 5:45pm),
- Northwest: Bike Masters at 5265 N. 129 St. (5:30pm) and then Democracy Park (about 5:45pm),
- Midtown: The Trek Store at 7214 Jones St. (6:00pm), and
- South: Seymour Smith Park (5:50pm, next to playground)
