4/19 @ 5:30: Walk with Us

Construction and recent crashes have reshaped the pedestrian experience around the intersection of 72nd St. and Dodge St. We’ll gather at 5:30pm on Wednesday April 19th at the Southwest corner of 72nd & Dodge Streets (sidewalk near Do Space). Bring a sign if you can.

4/20 @ 4pm: Sidewalk & Bus Stop Clean Up

We're partnering with the Blue Bucket Project to clean up bus shelters & sidewalks at the intersection of 72nd St. & Maple St on Thursday April 20th at 4pm. Just show up & the Blue Bucket Project will provide trash cleanup materials including gloves and trash buckets.

4/22: Bike Valet at Earth Day Omaha

Join the Bike Team at Earth Day on Saturday April 22 to park bicycles & connect with attendees about Mode Shift. Or stop by to connect. We will have the Farnam Roundabout & Trail Detour petitions. Earth Day is 11am to 6pm, and we need more volunteers 2-4 & 4-6pm.

Farnam Petition

Some Dundee residents opposed to Roundabouts blocked progress on this plan at City Council on April 4. Mode Shift is working to build momentum in support of a safe transition to 2-way everyday on Farnam with roundabouts. Click here to learn more and sign the petition. Please help us spread the word!

José is the Advocacy Director for Our Streets Minneapolis, where he has worked on developing reparative justice campaigns across the Twin Cities.
