Mode Shift is partnering with The Hunger Collaborative, Bike Union Mentoring Project, Live Well Omaha, and Omaha Bikes to provide support to Omaha area residents who have struggles with transportation.

A recent survey by Hunger Collaborative showed that 40% of clients have a daily challenge with transportation. The commuter tutor program will work with Hunger Collaborative’s clients to determine what individuals who respond need to get around by bike, foot or transit.

The program is looking for volunteers to mentor clients as needed and help break down their transportation barriers. The program is still in development.

If you are interested in helping out, please fill out this survey.
