Thanks to everyone who came out to the Heyday on May Day/transportation master plan (TMP) public open house. It was AMAZING! Check out some photos here.
If you liked what a pedestrian-, bike-, and transit-friendly, multi-modal street can look like, than help us make sure the updated TMP gets approved by the City Council.
UPDATE: The plan will go to the Council on June 12 and the public hearing is planned to take place on June 26 (please plan to attend if you can; let us know here). In anticipation of this, please contact your city council representative NOW to tell her or him that you want more transportation choices in Omaha. Here are some talking points for why they should support the plan. Or, print off and send and share these TMP postcards.
